Polynesian culture expands amongst so many cultures that in many cases hold plenty of differences between one another. However, in many more cases these cultures have plenty of similarities in Arts, Beliefs, and History especially when detailing the last 200 years.
Tattoo has been performed in many if not all polynesian cultures for centuries on and off. Despite the thousands of miles put between each culture they still manage to share so many artistic similarities especially to this day. The maori call this Moko, Samoans Refer to this is tatau and hawaiians named it kakau
